About

In my late twenties, yoga found me in utter stagnation. Committing to this practice helped me reshape my health, my mindset, my boundaries, and my heart. Yoga met me exactly where I was in life, challenging my body to become stronger and my mind a little softer. The epic duality of this practice entranced me, and somehow always offered answers to my big questions.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and over 15 years in dance and creative fitness, I found a synergy in yoga that pulled me close. It hit me one day, "I want to teach yoga." Sharing the joy of mindful movement and inner stillness with others just feels right. I became a certified 200-hour Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin yoga teacher in January of 2020 through MĀ Yoga on beautiful Vancouver Island. I have since taught over 400 hours of virtual and in-person classes. In addition to teaching yoga, I offer a stress management & yoga workshop for corporate & university staff meetings.

The beauty of this practice is that I can teach you technique and sequences, but the true essence of yoga is already within you. The physical, mental, spiritual, & ethical practices of yoga have the power to improve the quality of your life entirely. As a teacher, it is an honor to help you discover the magic of yoga from within.
